Great infrastructure projects don’t always rely on new materials. Sometimes, they succeed by rethinking how we use what’s already there ♻️ Indiana’s Asphalt Recycling & Reclaiming Association 2026 award-winning SR-13 project did just that, integrating Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and Cold Central Plant Recycling (CCPR) to reuse existing pavement and deliver significant cost savings compared to traditional reconstruction. It’s exciting to see continued recognition for projects that demonstrate innovation in the industry! https://lnkd.in/gW_pzXJ3

Asphalt Materials, Inc. is proud to be celebrating 70 years alongside the U.S. Interstate Highway System as we continue to deliver and innovate materials that keep critical infrastructure safe and performing longer! Great insights from Asphalt Pavement Alliance on this milestone.
For 70 years, the Interstate Highway System has served as the backbone of American mobility—connecting communities, supporting commerce, and driving progress. In the latest Roads & Bridges magazine, Asphalt Pavement Alliance Executive Director Mike Skinner reflects on this milestone and what it means for the future of infrastructure. In 70 Years of the Interstate, Mike explores how the industry can rebuild America’s backbone faster, smarter, and to last—through innovation, collaboration, and a continued focus on efficient project delivery. As the nation marks both the Interstate’s 70th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday, the article offers a timely reminder: preserving and modernizing this system will require disciplined prioritization, resilient solutions, and proven strategies that keep people and goods moving. We’re proud to see this perspective shared by APA’s very own Mike Skinner, PE, CAE and his continued leadership in advancing the conversation around the future of asphalt pavements and infrastructure. 📖 Give it a read and let us know, what do you see as the biggest opportunity in the next generation of interstate investment? https://lnkd.in/epFHCpMs #AsphaltPavementAlliance #Interstate70 #Transportation #PavementEngineering #RoadsAndBridges
