Te Pae is also a proud recipient of the Toitū Net Zero Carbon Recertification for the second consecutive year and the only convention center to be recognized due to milestones such as: ✅ Achieving a 12% overall reduction in carbon emissions in 2024 ✅ Reduced power consumption by 20% ✅ Cut transport emissions by 35% ✅ Offset all Scope 1, 2, and measured Scope 3 emissions Aligned with ASM Global & Legends' goals to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and reduce energy consumption by 25% by 2030 across the portfolio, Te Pae is making measurable differences in protecting our planet.

This culinary event was a true showcase of collaboration & passion to serve our guests in style and execute a flawless event.

📣 Exciting Management Announcement! 📣 Virginia Commonwealth University has partnered with ASM Global to manage and operate special events at the Stuart C. Siegel Center beginning July 1. With its growing portfolio of university venues, ASM Global will provide industry expertise and leverage its vast network of promoters to attract concerts, family shows and other special events beginning this fall. The 7,637-seat Stuart C. Siegel Center serves as a focal point for VCU and has become one of Richmond’s most exciting sports venues. “In this new economy for college athletics, we need to examine every resource on campus to maximize revenue generation,” said Ed McLaughlin, VCU athletic director. “Our new partners at ASM Global are the worldwide leader in running facilities for outside events. ♻️ Sustainability Spotlight: Oakland Arena & Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum & Soldier Field - ASM Global ♻️ This Earth Month, we’re celebrating venues who are making big moves toward a greener future 🌍 Oakland Arena and Soldier Field implemented reusable cup programs in their premium spaces last fall designed to reduce plastic waste. The reusable cups are no additional cost to the guest and come in various sizes. At the end of the event, guests can return them to a marked collection bin to be sanitized and reused at the next event. Together, both programs saved more than 14,500 cups in premium spaces alone, with Soldier Field eliminating 337 lbs of waste and Oakland Arena mitigating 188 lbs of CO2 through this practice. This initiative is part of ASM & Legends goal of eliminating single-use plastic in front of house by 2027. It’s venues making small operational adjustments that lead to the biggest changes and we can’t wait to see what’s possible as we scale these efforts even further.

💡Sustainability Spotlight: Utilita Arena Newcastle💡 This Earth Month, we’re celebrating venues who are making big moves toward a greener future.💚 In the last year, Utilita Arena Newcastle implemented two initiatives already making a major impact. A new recycling program with clearly labeled front-of-house bins and proper sorting policies resulted in 66% of all waste getting recycled – a new high! When it comes to energy, new LED lighting and lights off policies has made lighting 76% more efficient. This progress is part of ASM Global & Legend's overall sustainability goals to achieve 50% waste diversion and 25% energy reduction by 2030 across our portfolio and its venues like Utilita Arena Newcastle driving us closer to achieving these goals.
