#OnThisDay in 1958, our community took a major step forward in health care with the grand opening of what was then, Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital. What began as a small local hospital has grown into a cornerstone of care, compassion and innovation for generations of families. Today, we’re proud to continue as an independent community, not-for-profit health system with three hospitals and outpatient services serving nine counties in southern Oregon and northern California. Here’s to honoring our roots and continuing the mission that started 67 years ago today!

Last week, we celebrated two exciting milestones for our minimally invasive robotic surgery programs! 🎉 1️⃣ We completed our 100th da Vinci procedure at Three Rivers Medical Center! The program launched in late 2024 and seven physicians currently use the technology. 🎉 2️⃣ Three days later, Rogue Regional Medical Center hit 7,000 da Vinci surgeries! Dr. Nicholas Mills performed the first procedure, a hysterectomy, in April 2012. Bravo to our teams of physicians, nurses and OR staff!
