Most L&D teams are designing for the prompt layer. Almost nobody is designing for the layer above it.   In Episode 8 of The Learning Buzz, Brandon Neeb from Microsoft Worldwide Learning said something that stayed with us: Co-pilot is already acting as an in-place trainer for millions of people.  The question isn't whether the tool teaches. It's whether we're designing for what comes after the prompt. We mapped it into three layers: prompt, context, and judgement. Most formal training stops at layer one.
