  • The energy at events like the ISPE LA Tech Expo is always hard to replicate. Yesterday brought together people from across biotech, engineering, manufacturing, and technology all in one place, sharing ideas, exploring new solutions, and talking through the challenges shaping the future of the industry. Matt Korkuch represented AES in Inglewood and enjoyed connecting with attendees throughout the event. From cleanroom strategy and facility design to evolving GMP requirements and manufacturing scalability, it was great to be part of the conversations happening across the expo floor and hear what’s top of mind for teams across the West Coast life sciences community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with the team. Learn more about the event: https://loom.ly/ekI2YVk #ISPE #MidWestTech #Biopharma #CleanroomDesign #GMP

  • Yesterday at the ISPE MidWest Tech Show, attendees explored the technologies, operational challenges, and evolving GMP expectations shaping the future of biopharma manufacturing. From new technologies on the expo floor to discussions around manufacturing challenges and facility performance, it was a valuable opportunity to hear what teams across the Midwest are prioritising right now, and where the industry is headed next. We’re glad to have been part of the conversation and appreciate everyone who took the time to connect with Jessica Frantz and Jeff Rozelle throughout the day. • The difference between a compliant cleanroom, and a high-performing one, often comes down to decisions made before design even begins. ISO classification is one of them. Get it right, and you enable containment, flexibility, and long-term success. Get it wrong, and you introduce risk that’s difficult, and costly, to fix later. Today at 1:00 PM ET, we’re going deeper. Join Matthew Dean and Andrew Garber, PE as they unpack how ISO classification strategy directly influences containment, HVAC design, and GMP performance in advanced manufacturing environments. From cell and gene therapy to high-potency APIs, we’ll explore what it really takes to align process, facility, and compliance from day one. 🔗 There’s still time to join us: https://loom.ly/ACaEkz4 #CleanroomDesign #ATMP #CellAndGeneTherapy #Biopharma #GMP

  • Cleanroom ISO classification isn’t just a compliance requirement. It’s a critical design decision that shapes everything that follows. From containment strategy to HVAC design, pressurization, and airlock sequencing, early choices directly impact performance, flexibility, and regulatory success. Yet in advanced manufacturing environments, particularly across cell and gene therapy, viral vectors, and high-potency APIs, misalignment between process needs and classification strategy remains a common risk. On May 20, we’re hosting a webinar on how to get this right from the start. Join Matthew Dean, Director of Process Architecture, and Andrew Garber, PE, Mechanical Engineering Manager, as they share practical insights into designing, scaling, and optimizing GMP facilities, grounded in real project experience. • Last week, our teams across AES took part in Construction Safety Week, joining the wider industry in recognising the shared responsibility we all have to keep people safe. Throughout the week, our teams led safety discussions across our Montgomeryville and Manheim locations, worked alongside biopharma clients during onsite safety engagements, and demonstrated improved tie-off capabilities during OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down. We also spent time on the floor at our Suwanee facility, reinforcing how we continue to scale production safely as demand grows. While Construction Safety Week gives the industry a moment to pause and refocus, for AES, safety is not something reserved for a single week on the calendar. It is built into how we Design. Manufacture. Build. Innovate. It shapes our decisions, our planning, and the way we support our teams across every stage of a project. • Construction Safety Week may be coming to a close, but the responsibility it represents does not. This week has been a chance to step back, refocus, and reinforce what it takes to keep people safe across every stage of a project. Today, as we focus on Respect, Chris M., Shawn Reniker, and John Groth were on the floor at our Suwanee facility, working alongside the team to prepare for increased production demand while reinforcing the standards that keep people safe. Because respect isn’t just about recognition. It’s about how we plan, how we operate, and how we support the people doing the work every day. At AES, safety isn’t defined by a single week. It’s built into how we Design. Manufacture. Build. Innovate. And it’s something we’ll continue to strengthen, long after this week ends. #ConstructionSafetyWeek #AllInTogether #Respect

  • Today we’re at ISPE MAST 2026 in Baltimore. Hosted by the ISPE Chesapeake Bay Area Chapter, the Mid-Atlantic Science + Technology Showcase brings together professionals from across the life sciences industry for a full day focused on innovation, manufacturing strategy, career development, and emerging technologies shaping the future of pharma. From sessions on digital solutions for ATMP manufacturing and Annex 1 compliance to discussions around operational readiness and AI in GxP environments, this year’s agenda highlights just how quickly our industry continues to evolve. We’re looking forward to connecting with industry peers, hearing new perspectives, and being part of the conversations driving the future of GMP facility design and manufacturing. • Today, the industry stands down to focus on what matters most. As part of OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down, the spotlight is on fall protection, still the leading cause of fatalities in construction. At AES, we’re not just recognizing the risk. We’re actively working to reduce it. Today, our CEO Chris M. and Safety Director Joe Hunter are onsite with a biopharma client, demonstrating an improved tie-off capability designed to better protect crews working at height. This is what safety looks like in practice. Leadership in the field, working alongside teams to strengthen how we operate in high-risk environments. Because when it comes to safety, action is what makes the difference: https://loom.ly/oOAUUug #ConstructionSafetyWeek #StandDown4Safety #AllInTogether Construction Safety Week
