We’re writing from Colorado Springs! The results are in: our team took home 14 Pollie Awards at this year’s AAPC Pollie Awards—the leading Democratic firm—including top honors for: 🏆 Best in Show (Gold) — Hillary Scholten for Congress 🏆 Best in Show (Bronze) — Eric Sorensen for Congress We’re also thrilled to share that Mara Kunin from our team was named to AAPC’s 40 Under 40 list—a well-deserved recognition of her leadership and creative vision! These awards recognize not just creativity—but impact. Behind every win is a real challenge, a critical audience, and a measurable result. Our team has had the privilege to work on some of the most competitive and consequential races in the country, and we’ve learned a lot about what breaks through and what moves people. This year’s wins reflect not just the strength of individual spots, but the breadth of what we do. From independent expenditures and ballot initiatives to public affairs and multilingual campaigns, our work delivered results across the board and across platforms. Whether it’s television, digital, or radio, we’re proud to have built campaigns that performed where it counted. To that end, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the candidates, staffers, and operatives who trusted us with the opportunity to make a difference on their behalf. Every project we work on took a whole team effort. Here are a few examples of what that looked like: “Happens” (Missourians for Healthy Families and Fair Wages) A simple, powerful spot that struck the right chord with Missouri voters. By focusing on providing paid sick leave to workers, the campaign defied expectations. MHFFW won with 57% at the ballot box and Adwell took home Gold in the Statewide Ballot Initiatives category! “This Day” (Harry Dunn for Congress) A deeply personal and emotional story that became one of the most viewed web videos of the cycle, resonating across social and earned media. In addition to winning Bronze in the Best Viral Campaign and Digital Advertising categories, the ad also picked up a Shorty Award last night! This video was a powerful reminder of the reach and resonance of authentic storytelling in a complex media environment. “Fake” (VA-07, House Majority PAC) A contrast-forward, humor-driven IE spot that broke through the clutter in the crowded D.C. media market—and helped turn a toss-up race into a three-point win for Eugene Vindman. It also earned Silver for Best Use of Humor at the Pollies. We’re proud of the recognition—but even prouder of what it means for the work ahead. If you're already thinking about how to break through this cycle—or need ideas for reaching specific communities, building compelling narratives, or scaling creative quickly—we’d love to talk! —The Team at Adwell Kevin McKeon, Cayce McCabe, Megan Nashban Kenney, Jenna Kruse, Elise Convy Madison, Les Umberger, Christina Jansen, Boo Yuen, Camille T., Cristina González, Isaac Walker, Jacob Mannes, Jaelan Price
