If deadlines seem too tight, be honest with yourself/your project manager. Explain your concerns and see if some deadlines can be shifted. While approval isn't guaranteed, even flagging your concerns can ease the pressure. Be frank with yourself and your team about what you can realistically achieve. Once everyone understands your workload, they might be able to adjust expectations or – even better – offer support to help you meet deadlines. Easier said than done in terms of deadlines, but – the simple fact of the matter is – things change! Therefore, be prepared to adapt your approach as situations evolve. This allows you to handle unexpected events without sacrificing quality or workflow.

Facilitate discussions to identify priorities and find common ground. Use data-driven timelines and compromise to align stakeholder expectations while ensuring the event remains on track.

As an event emcee and entertainer my approach is twofold. First I endeavor to learn the particular challenges organizers face so I can share helpful insights and second, knowing that humans are less reliable than data and harder to control, I expect things to go awry that may throw the timeline into chaos. The good news is chaos is more fascinating than harmony. (That’s why no one walking down a busy street bothers to look at you until you trip.) The guest of honor may be delayed, meal service might be late or a speaker may run long. Maybe the hotel’s heat is broken and it’s snowing or the elevators malfunction. No matter what the issue or delay the real trick is to handle it with grace and good humor. That’s what a good emcee does!

Eu busco ajustar os conflitos em prol da entrega. Se tiver que haver concessões elas têm que ser baseadas em manter o cronograma macro, porém caso algo saia de fato do ajustável, eu busco rever o momento e adequar a realidade do problema.
