Communicating openly with the effect, impact and influence of the holistic approach is to facilitate the team to achieve the goals. Meetings and training are essential to aligning the focus of organisations with the team members thinking and acting in a positive way to ensure the success.

When there is a conflicting view about client care, it is important to go back to the organisation’s policy, and the the best practices at work. This will bring about coming together to an agreeable position.

It doesn't matter what yours or the teams views are, the client is the expert on their wellbeing, listen to them, utilize theories of practice and ensure that you all are putting the client and their needs at the centre.

Examples that I have heard and agree with include ‘fostering open communication’ by means of creating an open milieu where staff know that their views will be listened to and therefore feel ‘safe’ to articulate those views. There will always be varying degrees of conflicting views, it’s how these are managed, understood, supported where needed and challenged appropriately.
