I share with the group and ask them to prioritize what we do. They know since it's about them. Once they prioritize, then set some norms (ground rules) that help keep them on track and concise and move forward.

When sessions get truncated coming to conclusion is important to me. You have to think on your feet a bit and manage time more sincerely. Getting the group to conclusion ensures there’s closure to the session and the points that needed to be driven home are made. I think one of the things that’s important as a facilitator is keeping calm when time becomes an issues. Take a deep breath, think about what can be moved around and execute it. It’s easier said than done at times.
