One thing I have observed is missing an important deadline isn't a teammates sole responsibility. When you are a team, it's teams collectively Responsibility and Accountability. So always think from that angle to identify solution. If someone missed a deadline analysis of the situation will always help. Analysis of that individual issue and collective issue can't help this time but will definitely help the future conflicts.
