Provide support and offer solutions such a workload adjustments, process improvements, or training and coaching. 4. Follow up by regularly checking in to ensure progress is on track while maintaining accountability.

First I will analyse the problem why my team was not able to meet the deadline: 1. I will arrange for the discussion about the challenges in task 2. I will guide them or support them to complete it. 3. I will inform them to address the issue immediately to resolve it at the same time and not wait till the deadline date

Some of the following are some practical experience strategies that I found them helpful: - Set internal deadlines that can be more flexible and resilient to the average amount of the delays. - Follow up frequently and make suring enough support and guidance is provided to encounter any emerging challenges - Make the team member feels that s/he is not alone and the task is both of yours. - Explain how flexible or strict the deadline is and any delay in the final delivery can impact the overall picture and the bigger delivery that is contributing to.

So deadlines can be missed for several reasons. I think first of all there's a need of finding the reason behind the situation. Is it too many items in the scope? Is it lack of performance? Are those deadlines too ambitious? Once the problem is identified then its time to take actions to mitigate. I'd try to reduce the amount of work to a load that can be delivered so the member can gain some confidence. Next will be evaluating the performance and possible improvements, always with small actions and building up.
