Hear everyone out, and make the environment inviting, warm and welcome so your team feel comfortable to share ideas. Share our own as an ice breaker, and lead by example, fostering a supportive attitude towards creativity and innovation. Ask your team of their concerns and listen actively, and be sure that you are just as involved every step of the way. Do not criticize when something does not turn out the way it was expected, instead, celebrate it, and encourage learning from it, and finding out why it did not work, and what could change. Start with small steps. Take the team out every now and then for a breather, a day off.
