Knowing tour audience as it is said, is crucial in any outreach activity. If you are building a network or reaching out, very very helpful to learn a little about them. This gives one a context to either relate to their story and build a relationship that way or how your own journey relates to them or can add value to them. It is a slow process and takes lot of patience to give it time to organically develop into a meaningful relationship.

While we are expecting our vendors to achieve the agreed KPI at all time as we see that's their key responsibility to serve us as client, we must also not forget to give appreciation to the vendor staff who is particularly performing well in supporting us and meeting our requirement. A simple "Thank you", "I appreciate your hard work" to the staff directly would make their day. Not to forget to also let their superiors know that their staff contribution does help in our success. This way, not only could make sure our business smooth operations, we could also enhance the working relationship with the vendor for new potential and achievement for new heights.

Being extrovert is extremely useful skills in vendor management to expand the network, generate the leads and making clients confortable for conversations. However saying that need to be cautions as well for commitments and careful in marketing strategy.
