Embracing project management software offers a plethora of advantages. It enhances scheduling, task management, and collaboration, fostering a more cohesive work environment. With instantaneous updates and centralized communication, designers can seamlessly collaborate with clients and team members, guaranteeing that everyone is aligned and working together cohesively. Keeping clients informed about the project’s progress is essential. Regular updates and progress reports create a transparent and trusting relationship. Utilize project management software or create a schedule for periodic check-ins. For instance, sharing mood boards, design drafts, and construction updates provides clients with a tangible sense of project advancement.

Managing timeline expectations is essential when working on high end projects. Luxuries highest cost is often time. Customization and quality require high level craftsmanship and attention to detail. Nothing extraordinary happens at a mass produced tempo. Never take on more than you can deliver. Under promise and over deliver and choose to work with people who are emotionally intelligent enough not to loose their cool when unforeseen circumstances arise. Lord knows the pandemic taught us the value of clients who operate with a spirit of grace. Life’s too short to be expected to preform like a magician in unpredictable circumstances. Last but not least, always ensure budget and expectations are in alignment for agreeing to work together.
