Business relationship is formed on trust. Building and cultivating trust happens over a period of time. Remember always that the customer does not have to like or love you for trusting you. Trust develops on honest answers, keeping to deadlines and exhibiting professional behaviour even during a virtual connect viz. Being on time, Keeping to preset agenda, answering any pending issues of previous meeting, encapsulating the discussion and action points, and finally formalising & calendarising the next meeting dates. It helps to dress professionally, maintain eye contact and keep a professional setting like a conference room free from any distraction, disturbance noise etc.
