One often overlooked yet impactful approach is establishing a mobile governance policy that outlines supported apps, security protocols, and usage standards across both platforms. This creates consistency and reduces friction when onboarding new tools or troubleshooting issues. Additionally, assigning a few “platform champions” within the team—one for iOS and one for Android—can help resolve everyday hiccups quickly while promoting cross-platform understanding. These proactive steps ensure compatibility isn’t just a technical concern, but a well-managed part of your team’s workflow.

This is some what strange question for me so let me explain what I consider compatibility is.Each country has there own Telecommunication Regulator who define the complaint document of any device which is able to operate within the country.for and example most of the countries have strict complaince rules related to emergency calls so all phone should support the Emergency calling technology of that country. What the operator does is they check all the inmarket devices and work with the authorised dealer or manufature to validate all those features. Most of the time new features are provided through upgrades to the OS like IOS and Android.Once fully complied They Device obtain a certificate from Operator and regulator to roam in that country.
