(edited)When the team can’t agree on the event theme, just let everyone share their thoughts openly. Create a space where people feel comfortable speaking up, and make sure no one gets cut off. Writing down ideas can help everyone feel heard. After that you can do something simple like voting on the ideas. It’s all about making sure everyone feels included and their opinion matters. At the end of the day, it’s about working together and finding something that works for everyone.

Let's say the brainstorm meeting is 1 hour. Spend the first 20 minutes with "No Idea is a Bad Idea" where everyone contributes their ideas. This will help have everyone's voice heard and also allow for more ideas to flow as people build off other's. The remaining time in the meeting can be spent not on 'voting out' the bad ideas, but building on the good ones and more often than not results in a final outcome that's a combination of many people's ideas and contributions overall. If there's an open floor for everyone's idea to be considered, there will be a shared vision for the event theme that everyone can get behind.

Facilitate a structured brainstorming session where each team member presents their theme ideas with reasoning. Use a voting or ranking system to identify common preferences while ensuring minority opinions are acknowledged. Synthesize insights into a hybrid or innovative theme that aligns with the team’s shared vision.

Divergent opinions often lead to stronger creative solutions. Facilitating structured brainstorming sessions and aligning decisions with audience expectations ensures that the final theme resonates with all stakeholders.

Great ideas come from open discussions! 🗣️✨ Encourage brainstorming without judgment, use anonymous voting for fairness, and find common ground to bring the team together. A strong event theme is one that everyone feels part of! 🤝🔥
