This process has personally helped me the best. 1. WRITE down all the tasks. 2. Take time or discuss with the stakeholders if you need to but prioritise from most imp to least for the day/week. 3. Take out your calendar and block your time for the tasks with 15 min buffer time. 4. Take 5-7 min break before starting the next task to rejuvenate and clear your mind.

If a meeting request doesn't have an agenda and you are in a position to do so, those are good to decline or request an agenda before accepting. - What work are you doing that isn't yours? Sometimes a simple favor turns into ongoing support. Consider giving that work back. - Check messages and emails only a few times a day and request that if it's something urgent, the person flag it or contact you. Similarly, group your questions and hold them until 1:1s or meetings when you can. This will help the other person and reduce the number of messages you get.
