QA’s concerns should be based on specifications and requirements that are in the product design. The QA department needs to establish initial and periodic meetings to present specific sets of data to support their concern and why ignoring it can cause a serious issue for the company. QA also needs to ensure that unsatisfactory product is not released to reinforce the severity of their issues. If the developers persist in ignoring the concerns of QA, this may escalate into a situation where upper management is brought into the situation.
