Being in automotive component manufacturing, during lean times it is very important to become more efficient as during good times the focus is more on producing more to capitalize on the market conditions. This is the time when we can strategise for the longer term and review our goals and actions we have taken for them, lot of larger changes like layout changes and major technology upgrades are only possible during these times During the current slowdown in 2024 we almost moved all Of our machines to be closer to each other as per lean concepts, reevaluated all the gaps in our horizontal deployment of the kaizens we had done, we also got a chance to do a thorough preventive and accuracy check of all our cnc machines

The market's been unpredictable, and that does make it tough. But at Connexion Electrical, we’ve learned to stay focused on what we can control. We stick to lean principles by keeping things simple: minimizing waste, staying close to our numbers, and adapting quickly when things shift. It’s not always perfect; sometimes it’s more about making smart, timely decisions than following a strict system. Our teams work closely across the board — sales, production, logistics ,so we’re not siloed, and that helps us respond faster without overcommitting resources. Lean, for us, is more about mindset than manuals.
