It is really important in any client service capacity (coaching, advisory, technology) to drop the hubris that you will be able to meet all your clients’ needs. As an individual or a company there will be times when your experience is not the best to support your client - at this point you can acknowledge your limitations and help connect your clients to the right experts and ecosystem or try to muddle through, usually out of a selfish fear of losing client business. Doing the former is essential in creating strong promoter relationships whereas doing the later will inevitably catch up to you when your client reevaluates the value you bring in the relationship.
