Everyone should not only know what we are aiming for, but why we are pursuing these goals. I will openly communicate the larger vision. Not just numbers, but what success looks like in terms of impact — for our customers, for our employees, and for society. I make it a point to personally share this in team meetings, town halls, and direct conversations. When people feel connected to the purpose, they bring their best energy.

I start with the company vision and the view/path that is shifting for the company to be ambitious in a certain area and defining "why" the company is doing so. With that, I show the high level picture and then break it down to the team, based on relevance of work they are doing or will be doing as part of this shifted strategy. In a nutshell, if the team understands the "why" they are motivated and inspired to give their best. Below are high level steps : 1. Connect the ask to the larger vision of the company 2. Break down the ask to team's relevance level/targets 3. Set clear objectives to meet the targets 4. Measure success or correct path as needed 5. Communicate, Empathize , Inspire & Motivate
