This is never easy , but I have been responsible for many multi million pounds projects in my time and one thing stands me in good stead 1) always believe in what you are delivering. 2) never under estimate the push back you will get from the organisation 3) always be as honest and transparent as you can be. 4) try an see the problems from both sides 5) always be clear on your objectives and communicate them and stick by them After all we have seen so very recently that chopping and changing without a clear strategy puts people in the zone of mistrust.
