How do you use de-essers, de-clickers, or de-plosives to smooth out vocal audio?

Man sollte beachten, dass ein De-Clicker, anders als ein De-Esser meist als Offline Prozess auf eine Audiodatei gerechnet wird, da sonst eine zu hohe Latenz ensteht. Daher sollte man den De-Clicker erst einmal sanft einstellen, weiterhören und darauf achten ob auch Konsonanten wie "d" oder "t" Laute ungewollt abgeschnitten werden.

Da in einem Audiofile schnell Tausende von Klicks sein können lohnt es sich ein Offline-Rendering zu machen, bei dem die schonmal die meisten Klicks entfernt werden. Wenn beim weiteren Anhören Klick-Geräusche auffallen kann man punktuell Schmatzer entfernen auf dem Audioclip entfernen.

Am besten ist es diese Laut schon bei der Aufnahme zu vermeiden in dem man des Mirkofon z.B. etwas seitlich zum Sprecher aufstellt. So prallt nicht der Luftzug direkt auf das Mikrofon. Notch-Filter macht hier wohl weniger Sinn, weil so ein Ploppen meist recht breitbandig ist um unteren Frequenzbereich den man für Sprache meist eh nicht braucht

Plosives and mouth noises are a voice actor's ENEMY. As grateful as I am to have tools and plugins to eliminate these sounds, I have found that it's best to start at the source and train yourself to eliminate these noises as much as possible. To eliminate mouth clicks: hydrate about an hour before recording, and then while recording swish a small amount of water around in your mouth every 10-15 lines; also, do NOT eat dairy prior to recording. To eliminate plosives, position the microphone about 6 inches away from your mouth and at a 45-degree angle. You do not want your mouth to be straight on with the mic, this will create plosives even if you have a pop filter on.

De-plosives tackle those explosive "p" and "b" sounds that can distort audio recordings.
