I've used both Figma and Adobe XD, and I can tell you with confidence that Figma is far superior to XD. Of course, this does depend on the size of your project, but it seems that Figma will outlast XD in the future due to its strong support by the community.

But for small projects & based on the requirements of your team, you can use other tools like Miro, Framer, Origami Studio (for mobile UI) For beginners, Justmind can be a good choice as well.
