J&J Foundation
Johnson & Johnson Foundation is working towards creating a world without health inequities by closing the gaps between communities and the care they need.
The Johnson & Johnson Foundation is a private registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that reflects the commitment of Johnson & Johnson to use its size, scale, and diversity to advance equitable care and put better health within reach.
Founded in 1953, the J&J Foundation is one of the oldest corporate foundations in healthcare, with a mission to support global health and social impact initiatives that work to improve the health and overall well-being of the most under-served communities. It is an independent entity governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for its charitable mission, with operational management by the J&J Global Health Equity organization.
Funded solely by Johnson & Johnson, the J&J Foundation supports both global and in-country partnerships and community-led initiatives to champion health workers, especially nurses and community health workers, and advance access to quality healthcare.
The Foundation also includes J&J Impact Ventures, an investment fund supporting a global portfolio of early-stage companies innovating access to quality and affordable care for patients around the world.
