About Roboto

Roboto was designed by Christian Robertson, Paratype, and Font Bureau. Launched in 2011, it's a neo-grotesque typeface with a dual nature: mechanically structured yet friendly with open curves. It supports multiple scripts like Cyrillic, Greek, and Vietnamese. Its unique geometry permits natural letter widths, enhancing readability in digital interfaces. Roboto is also part of a larger superfamily including Slab and Mono variations.
