About B612

B612, designed in 2012 by Nicolas Chauveau, Thomas Paillot, Jonathan Favre-Lamarine, and Jean-Luc Vinot, is an open-source font family created to enhance legibility on aircraft cockpit screens. Named after Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s asteroid, it features both roman and italic styles, with a humanist sans-serif design that eases visual fatigue and cognitive load.
