Understanding the Infinity System
The Infinity System is a multichannel platform with true polyphonic sustain. After years of refinement in the Thor and Valkyrie guitars, we are now preparing to release it as a stand-alone kit for qualified builders. This post explains the system’s design, key constraints, and installation requirements so you know what to expect and can decide whether it suits your needs.

MIDI is a digital control protocol, while CV is its analog counterpart — both are ways of telling gear what to do without carrying any audio. From keyboards and pedals to modern controllers, there are countless ways to generate CVs and convert them into MIDI. This article explores how musicians can take advantage of CV-to-MIDI tools, with a focus on practical applications, real-world usability, and off-the-shelf gear you can put to work today.

Thor Mark III: Realizing the Asymmetric Trapezoidal Neck
The asymmetric trapezoidal neck for Thor Mark III is now in prototype form. Built on Thor’s original nine-layer Maple, Wenge, and carbon fiber laminate, it combines trapezoidal geometry with an asymmetric taper for comfort, reach, and stability. So far, it’s the best neck I’ve played.

Price Update & Free Shipping & Discount
We’ve kept our prices unchanged since 2018. Over the years, we’ve absorbed rising costs without passing them on. But with the recent tariffs now hitting

Thor Mark III: Refining the Body Design
Thor Mark III takes an incremental step forward with a redesigned body, featuring a solid maple core wrapped in carbon fiber and reinforced with kerfing for strength and stability.

Announcing the Nu Multi JB4 (Jazz Bass)
We’re officially making this standard: introducing the Nu Multi JB4 (Jazz Bass). Like all Nu Multi pickups, it delivers a full 20 Hz to 20

This is the final prototype. One last chance to verify everything before we go into production. Thanks to everyone who’s already reserved theirs. If you haven’t yet, there’s still time!
Here, we talk about controls.

The E-Whammy: Ready, Set, Bend!
We’ve received GOTOH parts and prototypes for the E-Whammy, with final hardware to be finished in black chrome. The basic E-Whammy outputs 0–5V CV and works best with an active guitar or the Nexus GK MIDI module. Optional CV-to-expression and CV-to-MIDI (possibly Wi-Fi) modules are also in development.

The E-Whammy : Center Stability Take Two
After reading my post about the e-whammy, Béla Becker proposed a clever approach using two offset, inverting half-wave rectifiers to define a deadband window. Their summed output naturally centers at 2.5 V, avoiding the jump present in the original design.

The E-Whammy : Center Stability
Stability is key for the E-Whammy. I designed a circuit that snaps the output to the exact center pitch within a user-defined range, ensuring precise control and a return to neutral when the bar is released.

Realizing the E-Whammy from proof-of-concept to a roadmap revealing CV, MIDI, and TRS-pedal support—powered by rock-solid electronics, GOTOH hardware, and custom CNC-machined parts.

The E-Whammy Explained: What It Is (and Isn’t)
The E-Whammy is a modern, electronic whammy bar controller that offers precise pitch control without affecting string tension or tuning stability. This post explains what it is—and what it isn’t.

I’ve dedicated a great deal of time to the documentation. I believe well-crafted documentation is essential to any product—not just as a reference, but as part of the experience. I’ve done my best to make it as clear and comprehensive as possible.
The Tone Block v3 is something else! While preparing the documentation, I started fiddling around with it for a demo and was pleasantly surprised by the results. You’ve got to see this!
What is it? The Tone Block is a compact, second-order resonant RLC filter with adjustable frequency and resonance, giving you the flexibility to shape the guitar pickup’s character on the fly.

XR Spectra v3 Preorders Now Open
The February 2025 production run for XR Spectra v3 is underway, with preorders open until March 7th and a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. XR Spectra v3 supports the Nu-XR Spectra combo. It also features the redesigned Tone Block with continuously variable controls for frequency and resonance.

Thor Mark III: Exploring the Asymmetric Trapezoidal Neck Design
The Thor Mark III features a complete neck redesign with an asymmetric trapezoidal profile for superior ergonomics and playability. Inspired by Rick Toone and Ola Strandberg, this design enhances comfort while retaining the ultra-thin taper of the original Thor Mk II.
