Digital civic engagement

Our Mission

Our mission is to build better democracies. We started by building a platform for citizen petitions, and are now expanding into a platform for civic dialogue.

Our Approach

We are non-partisan. We have tens of millions of users in the US who are Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.

What We Do

The Problem

Digital media platforms advantage the most polarized voices and spread misinformation on social issues.

As a result:

  • 1.Citizens don't have access to balanced information on local issues.
  • 2.Elected officials and governments are unable to hear from a representative group of citizens on critical topics.

The Solution

Change.org is building a platform to enable healthy civic dialogue on important issues.

In partnership with select cities and leveraging our user base of over 100 million Americans, we are creating inclusive, representative, and informed civic engagement.
