Introduction

Carousel Slider Block is a responsive modern carousel slider for the Gutenberg block editor that lets you add any blocks to your slides. It uses Swiper.js for smooth, touch-friendly, modern carousel behaviour.

The slider works inside the block editor. Each slide is a Gutenberg inner block, allowing you to add any block, such as images or Cover blocks, text, buttons, embeds, WooCommerce products, and more. Because the slides use native Gutenberg blocks, they also work with standard block hooks, actions, and filters.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.4 or later
  • Gutenberg block editor (classic editor not supported)
  • PHP 8.0 or later

Quick start

  1. Click the + block inserter and search for Carousel Slider.
  2. Add the block.
  3. Click the + button to create your first slide.
  4. Click inside the slides and add any block you like.
