Undergraduate Award

This prize is awarded to those students who were nominated by their institutions' after achieving the highest overall score in a BPS accredited degree programme.

Application open and close dates

  • Nominations open on 06 July 2026
  • Nominations close on 27 September 2026

Prize

Over 100 awards are made annually - one per society-accredited institution - and each prize includes:

  • A letter of congratulations, signed by the CEO, Sarb Bajwa
  • A year's free Graduate Membership of the BPS
  • A £30 gift voucher

Eligibility

  • Submissions are only accepted from institutions delivering accredited undergraduate programmes
  • We only offer 1 award per institution per year
  • The award is only available to Level 3 students, those in their 3rd year and eligible for a BSc should they leave the course at that point
  • Integrated MSc awards are eligible if the nominated student is not put forward at Level 4, and only their level 3 overall grades are considered
  • If two students have the same overall grade, the student with the highest score on their dissertation should be the one considered for the award

Submissions are only accepted from institutions delivering accredited undergraduate programmes.

Please note: the awardee must be nominated by their institution and cannot nominate themselves.
