Well this would expectable.
Samsung making tons of EV every single hour by making phones and its Sudokwon E-Waste is largest or one of largest in the world and is next t main Samsung facility in South Korea.
With so many EV brands in the world it would be hard to succeed for them.
To me most brands or all brands should release up to 3 devices a year.
A basic one, a midranger and a proper flagship. There is no need for making billions of E-Waste every single day.
