I recently switched to the OnePlus 15 after using Samsung flagships for several years, and the experience has been surprisingly refreshing. The biggest difference I noticed is the smoothness — apps open faster, animations feel lighter, and the phone stays consistently responsive even after long usage.
Battery life is a major upgrade for me. Where my previous Samsung phone needed charging by evening, the OnePlus 15 easily lasts a full day with heavy use. Fast charging is another big advantage and makes daily usage very convenient.
The display quality is excellent, and OxygenOS feels clean and less cluttered compared to One UI. The camera may not be the absolute best in the flagship segment, but it is more than good enough for everyday photos and videos & in many cases you won’t feel the difference.
After using the phone for about a month, the experience has actually become even better.
For normal usage, the battery comfortably lasts 1.5 to 2 days, which is something I have rarely experienced with previous flagship phones. Another pleasant surprise is thermal performance — there is virtually no heating, even during extended usage or charging.
The cameras have also proven to be very reliable. In about 95% of situations the photos and videos come out excellent, and the Dolby Vision video recording is particularly impressive with great color and dynamic range.
Overall, I feel the OnePlus 15 might quietly become one of the best value flagships of the year. It may not get immediate hype, but people will likely realize it later because it hits almost all the sweet spots — performance, battery, display, charging, and clean software.
Yes, phones like the Find X9 Pro may have slightly better cameras, but paying ₹30,000 more for that small improvement doesn’t make much sense when the OnePlus 15 already delivers around 95% of that camera performance along with a more balanced overall package.

Fast, ergonomic, good looking value for money complete package.
Firstly I thought that I should write a descriptive review but then I thought lets keep it simple, direct and short. I have upgraded from s22 ultra and obvious first choice was s26 ultra but then that is like almost double the price of one plus 15 and only thing in which that phone is better is screen's colour reproduction and saturation and rear cameras that's it. This phone is crazy fast, smooth, doesn't heat up, almost impossible to finish battery in a day( getting 10 hr SOT). Charging is blazing fast and obviously it comes with a cover and a charger, a simple screen gaurd is already applied from the factory. I have the black colour the phone, it looks fantastic, the back finish is so soft and feels good in hand, the design is very ergonomic and you don't feel the weight, it doesn't feel heavy or bulky even with the cover. Speaker is good and loud, call and network reception even in closed environments is very good. Fingerprint is very fast and accurate, buttons and vibrations are also good, side key is unique though they could have enabled more features in it like different functions for long click, double click and single click, right now only thing it can do is one quick action assigned to long click. Cameras well they are good I mean it would not be fair to compare it with phones costing 30-60k more than this one, they get the job done and if there are phones with better camera at same price then well they lag behind in other specs. I was hesitant before the purchase but I'm highly satisfied and impressed, I mean this device comes ready out of the box, just open the box and you have everything( the charger, screen gaurd, cover I know this is not a big thing for many) but it made me feel so happy that I didn't have to worry that now I have go out to buy a case or a charger and as soon as you power on this phone you start loving the user experience so much. I thought of it as a settlement but their tag line is really apt "never settle" This is the most VFM Android phone in my honest opinion, you may spend 30-60k more for a bit more AI features or better cameras but for the price which this devices asks it is simply incredible. Go for it, I am sure you will not regret the overall experience. EDIT; Now I'm even more satisfied with the camera, added few samples of normal n zoom from the same place, this device also has the best camera in this price range, selfies are amazing too, there is option of wide angle in selfies too which works as good as the normal mode, very good cameras as well. I thought of writing a short review but the device is so good that I ended up writing a long one. Thanks.

Display: The display offers excellent brightness, responsive touch, and crisp visuals. The downgrade from 2k to 1.5k isn't really noticeable and didn't bother me.
Processor: The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor delivers exceptionally snappy performance and robust processing power.
Thermals: The phone maintains reasonable temperatures, even during intensive gaming sessions and extensive multitasking.
Audio: The speakers provide good sound quality and are impressively loud.
Battery: The battery life is absolutely top-notch, easily lasting for two days on a single charge. Further, the charging speeds are unrivaled.
Camera: The camera excels in daylight conditions, producing perfect shots. The video too is quite nice not Iphone 17 pro max level but like 70-75% there. While evening and nighttime shots do not quite reach flagship levels, the integration of AI features allows for results that are 85-90% comparable to flagship devices. This capability was a pleasant surprise, as it had not been highlighted by any reviewers, whether Indian or international.
AI Features: OnePlus has significantly elevated its AI capabilities. The camera's AI integration, Gemini integration, Flux themes, and AI writing tools are genuinely valuable and effective.
Things for Oneplus to work on for next year's flagship: A better camera lens for night time shots and more first party cases.
Kudos team Oneplus for launching a phone this good!
