This device is very impressive for its mid-range price, thanks to its excellent performance, speed, materials, build quality, smooth operating system, and its beautiful screen.

The screen is absolutely gorgeous and seems to be fairly scratch resistant even without the included screen protector. It has a nice glass back and aluminum frame.

It has LED light rings around the camera lenses which are very cool once you play around with the settings. It also comes with a charger and even a case.

The battery life is good; it lasts about 8 hours for me on one charge. It’s also pretty compatible with Bluetooth.

There are a few very minor drawbacks. This device does contain a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, but I don’t think you should be concerned about the device just because it has MediaTek; it has very good performance of 2.0M on AnTuTu Benchmark. It could probably get more if you put a cooler on it.

It also comes with a lot of ads in the software, but you can easily disable them in the settings if it bothers you.

Overall, this is a wonderful device, and I can highly recommend it with no issues.

All round a decent mid-range phone. Currently daily driving it. And I'll say for 350 bucks this is definitely worth it. Battery is decent, not amazing but notable. Speakers are nice and can get pretty loud if needed. The phone itself is sleek and smooth. HyperOS (the operating system) itself is well made and it'd very iOS-esque, but is bloated to all hell. Recommend looking up "Canta" or getting familiar with ADB to debloat. It comes with a simple case and screen protector which surprised me. Also comes with a USB-A to USB-C charger. For gaming, it runs Zenless Zone Zero at medium settings at a tolerable level and at low settings it's smooth (it's a demanding game, or maybe just poorly optimized). But if you want to do gaming I'd recommend getting the 512GB + 12GB RAM variant for 50 dollars more. 8GB is kind of tight. But if you aren't doing considerable gaming then this suffices. Finally, it worked flawlessly with T-Mobile, I didn't have to do any extra steps. It was just plug and go with my sim card.

FOR POWER USERS:

Xiaomi is very strict with rooting. This was my first Xiaomi phone and I learned there's a mandatory 30 day account age requirement plus a ~7 day wait before you can unlock the bootloader in order to root.

It's great but no sd card slot

Phone is fast and pretty as expected. Back is glass like the specs say. Some think it's not because it looks like plastic on photographs, but you can instantly tell it's glass when seeing and touching it.

It does not always charge at 100W. For starters, the screen has to be off, and the phone not too hot. Max I've seen so far with the screen on is 60W, so not too bad. Despite that the charge speed is impressive, especially at lower charge levels.

I does come with a lot of apps you might not want, but they can be uninstalled within the OS. I did not do the ADB process to further remove ads, yet I'm getting almost none. Maybe some countries get more ads than others though, so YMMV on that.

This phone works perfectly with my motorcycle turn-by-turn navigation system. Bluetooth connection is sustained, and location updates are fast and continuous, unlike my previous Samsung A33, where the navigation would be erratic, stopped, or the connection lost altogether.

Totally satisfied

Phones great, I love it. Amazing value for the price. Although, I ordered 2 of these phones and only one of them came with the 100w wall charger. Both of them were supposed to as advertised in the picture. When contacting Amazon they were unable to help me and told me my only option was to return the phone and be sent a new one. When contacting the seller they only wanted to send me a 45w charger. So buyers beware, you might get a charger, you might not and if you don't, there's nothing they will do to remedy the situation.

Worth the money easily. Does what it suppose to do plus more for the few hundred bucks

Ik had eerder goede ervaringen met Poco's eerste vlaggenschip, de Pocophone F1. Die werkt op vandaag nog uitstekend, maar was aan vervanging toe wegens na 7 jaar sterk teruggelopen accuduur en gebrek aan nieuwe Android versies. De Poco X8 Pro is daarentegen een enorme teleurstelling. Hij mag dan wel een hoge accuduur en een snelle processor hebben, maar de relatief lage prijs moet worden betaald met extreem veel ongemak tijdens gebruik. Ib ben twee dagen bezig geweest om de ingebouwde ongewenste apps van derden en de diep in het systeem gebouwde agressieve reclameschermen, maar bij de eerste update van een systeemapp was alle rommel weer teruggeplaatst door het eigen besturingssysteem van Poco/Xiamo. Het is onbegonnen werk om dit toestel softwarematig schoon te houden en ik heb het geretourneerd omdat ik het toestel rustig wil kunnen gebruiken en niet dagelijks opnieuw naar mijn wensen moet gaan inrichten.

Habe das Handy für meine Schwiegermutter gekauft und durfte es natürlich auch einrichten. 🙄 Die Einrichtung mit Übertragung der Daten von einem recht alten Android-Phone funktionierte ohne Probleme. Etwas nervig sind die vielen vorinstallierten Werbe-Apps und Spiele. Hier muss man am Anfang einmal ordentlich aufräumen. Das Handy läuft sehr flüssig und auch die Kamera macht gute Bilder. Für alle, die nicht Unsummen in ein Handy investieren wollen absolut zu empfehlen. Zudem sollen laut Hersteller noch viele Jahre Updates angeboten werden, was ein absoluter Pluspunkt ist.
