    This hub is very handy if you need to use multiple USB-C peripherals but still need passthrough power for your laptop, 65 watts in my case. I have not experienced any noticeable difference in transfer speeds or heat. Typical Belkin high quality, all the ports are tight and connections feel secure.

    I want to note that this unit will NOT allow HDMI functions via USB-C. I still need to plug my external display directly into the other USB-C port on my laptop.

    The only downside is that the surface of the hub is a high gloss black, which will scuff like crazy the first time you toss it into your backpack or set it on the table. Does not at all effect functionality but can be annoying for some. Otherwise, this is now one of my essential daily tech accessories.

    I recently bought a Casio keyboard to learn piano. I also got an IPad so I could use different sound sources and a piano learning app. Unfortunately iPads don’t have headphone jacks so you are forced to use Bluetooth. Bluetooth has a latency problem; whenever I depress a key in the piano it takes a 1/2 second for the sound to be produced in the headphones. Can’t play any instrument if the sound production isn’t instantaneous. In order to solve this I needed a usb c headphone converter and the Belkin hub so I could also plug in my piano.
    Anyway, this hub works. So now I can use my iPad for music and listen with headphones. For some reason, the charging port doesn’t work…maybe it only works on a computer. Whatever…it works for my needs.

    These USED to be a 5 star product from me, I've lost count how many I have purchased and included built into my products I manufacture. All of 2025 NO ISSUES at all, battle tested in the photo event industry buy some very large companies I have as clients. Come 2026 and the last two batch orders I have purchased I have had to replace 10 of them within a 2 month window, all for different customers because they stopped working in a short amount of time. Something happened in the Belkin manufacturing of these hubs in the past 3 months and I have lost my confidence in the stock that is available right now, I have moved to another HUB manufacturer for my products. I even tried calling Belkin quietly to make them aware of this issue and could not get anyone who cared that they had bad units being sold. So now it's to be very public about this issue and to let people know to be aware there ARE bad units in circulation of these hubs. ALWAYS have a backup on hand just in case! Sorry Belkin, you need to have a better process to receive feedback from other manufacturers that use your products in theirs. I hope I can regain confidence again someday.

    I've been using this hub for about a month on a daily basis for hours at a time. I have two monitors connected plus a wireless mouse and keyboard too. Works fine and opened up 4 ports on my laptop!

    The only downside is the cord is very short that connects to my laptop. I designed my desk setup to address that shortcoming so its not a problem for me, but for others it could be an issue!

    Lo ocupo para grabar en ProRes con el iPhone y no tener que cargarlo con MagSafe además de conectar una tarjeta de sonido externa creative sound blaster para un micrófono sensheisser, estuve probando varios y ninguno soporto la tasa de transferencias ya que ProRes genera archivos descomunales

    Fonctionne parfaitement. J'y connecte un disque en USB-C, un hub avec plusieurs disques en USB-2 et une connexion réseau en RJ45.
    Toutefois, mon ecran BenQ qui aliment mon Mac en USC-C ne fonctionne pas au travers de ce concentrateur. Je dois le connecter directement sur le Mac; ce qui n'est pas un problème puisqu'il dispose de 2 ports USB-C.
