    This device is great overall and perfectly manages wired CarPlay conversion. It works seamlessly for navigation and music apps like Spotify. The audio is instant and clear.

    However, I noticed one thing: There is a noticeable audio lag (delay) when playing videos on YouTube, Facebook Reels, or any social media app. The video plays ahead of the audio. This isn't a problem for normal driving or listening to music, but if you watch a lot of videos, you will notice this delay.

    In short: Excellent for daily use, calls, and music, but not ideal for video playback.

    The Ford Sync unit in my 2014 Ford Escape finally died after resetting the unit no longer worked. I had a CarPlay unit installed, however it required me to plug my phone into a USB every time I got into the car. I didn’t think plugging in the phone would be a problem but soon realized that it would be a pain in the butt! I either had to deal with a cable strung out in the car, which if your wearing a winter coat can be a pain. The other problem was that I was forgetting to unplug my phone when leaving the vehicle. I thought I would take a chance and purchase a wireless CarPlay adapter. First off, out of the box it is solidly built and comes with quality and appropriately sized cables, secondly the unit comes with very detailed instructions and information where to get help if required.
    Following the instructions I had the wireless unit connected to both my phone and CarPlay unit in less then a minute! The system works flawlessly and connects quickly when I enter the vehicle. Best part the wireless unit is neatly plugged into the center storage area out of sight out of mind and my phone in my pocket where it will not be forgotten. I would diffinately recommend this wireless unit!
