Where there is a two-stage interview process; all disabled applicants will be guaranteed a first stage interview.

Flexible working
We support mutual flexible working arrangements in order to  support staff to balance work and personal commitments. On occasions staff may work more than their contracted hours and this time may be taken off as time off in lieu. We pay enhanced maternity pay to employees.

Hybrid working
We operate a hybrid working policy. All staff work from home but with the opportunity to work some of the time in our office in Aldgate, London. All staff are required to attend some face to face meetings, including our four staff meetings held each year.

Staff wellbeing
AdviceUK supports staff wellbeing through line management support as well with the help of our volunteer Mental Health Champions. We are looking to establish an employee assistance programme during 2024.

Salary policy
AdviceUK is committed to attracting and retaining the best possible staff and we work to ensure our salaries remain competitive for the charitable sector. We are also committed to ensuring no member of staff is paid below the Real Living Wage. AdviceUK is fully committed to the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First policy. As a public-facing charity, we recognise that the provision of an excellent service requires investment in, and fair treatment of, the people who work for us.
