So, I’m creating a world were superheroes, and villains, are real and exist in the real world. Everything else is the same, like the gold depository in Fort Knox, Kentucky, which brings me to my question.

Super villiansvillains break into Fort Knox nearly every year, stealing the gold and than being defeated by the heroes again. Like the time Dr. Cyclops stole famous art, millions of dollars in gold, and gallons and gallons of expensive wine. He was stopped, and the gold was returned, before being stolen again.

So, my question is, why might the government keep its gold in the same place, even when itsit's constantly stolen beby super-villains?

Why might the government keep the gold at Fort Knox, even though super-villains steal it all the time?
