• Hi,

I’m facing an issue with a custom plugin I developed. When I install and network activate it on my WordPress multisite setup, the plugin appears only on the main site and does not show up on any of the sub-sites.

I also tried network deactivating it to manually activate it per sub-site, but the option to activate it individually doesn’t appear for the sub-sites either.

To troubleshoot, I tested this with plugins from the WordPress plugin store as well, and the same issue persists—they only appear on the main site and not on the sub-sites.

I’ve tried all possible approaches I could think of, but nothing seems to work. I’m not sure if I’m missing something in the configuration or if there’s a deeper issue with the multisite setup.

I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on resolving this.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @shekharsuman123 ,

    In a WordPress multisite:

    • Network Activated Plugin -> Enabled on all sites, not individually listed in subsites’ plugin admin.
    • Installed but NOT Network Activated -> Available to Super Admins only to be individually activated per site.

Please login as super admin, let me know if you face any issue.

    Thanks
