Hi Harvey,
Thanks for the message. 🙂
I have replied another message and hope my message has been sent to your mailbox correctly. 🙂
About this feature request, thanks, I am happy to realize them, I think maybe what you means is, for example, you have a tooltip keyword which is “wordpress”, and then you have a page named “what is wordpress” for the explanation of the “wordpress”, you hope in the page “what is wordpress”, we do not add tooltip for all “wordpress” words, is this correctly?
Thanks, have a happy day with your family. 🙂
Best Regards,
Tomas
Tomas,
It is exactly that.
Here are my thoughts on where to NOT show tooltips:
– In the tooltip, I may have a link that points to a page where I explain in more detail what the word means. The word being defined doesn’t get underlined on the defining page. Other words with tooltips do get underlined.
– On the page where I put the tooltip glossary shortcode (without the definitions next to them), there shouldn’t be any tooltips.
– This is more complicated: If you add the option to show the tooltips next to the word or phrase on the glossary page, then in the tooltip an occurrence of the word being defined doesn’t get a tooltip, but any other word with a tooltip occurring in the definition does get a tooltip.
I have your email — I’ll send an example of what I mean.
