NoVasta
NoVasta

Founded by a group of high-school youth dedicated to civic action and public service, NoVasta is an organization that aims to bridge the gap between food waste and food insecurity within our respective communities. Our field work currently consists of establishing partnerships with restaurants to donate any excess food at the end of the day to a local food shelter in the area. We also participate in local and state-wide advocacy/policy change efforts, fundraise for local causes related to furthering food security, and host educational events to help youth understand the interconnectedness about food waste, insecurity, and the climate crisis.
