The Apple Glasses aren't ready yet so they didn't want to talk about AR at all and instead leaned into the VR content to sell the simulator for the Apple Glasses until the glasses are ready. But then I imagine VR content won't be great on the glasses.

And it shipped a mouse and GUI (WIMP Immersive Spatial Apps) it stole from PARC (Meta Quest). And then proceeded to never talk about the trackpad API. Will we have to wait for Apple Glasses before we get the AR IKEA couch WWDC keynote demo?

Apple Vision Pro is weird. Imagine if Apple had told the press 6 years before the introduction of the 1984 Macintosh (Vision Pro w/ VR) that it's vision for the future was a laptop form factor (Apple Glasses w/AR) and shipped a trackpad API (ARKit). Then when 1984 came...

The Apple Vision Pro has an additional strap that goes *over* your head (because of weight). It wasn’t discussed, those in the hands on demos had it, but no pictures were allowed. The Good Morning America video didn’t show it either. But one brief scene in the keynote had it.
