Android 13 came out in August 2022, and only shortly after it, the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the smaller Google Pixel 7 were the first phones to launch with the new OS. The Pixel 7 Pro has something to prove. When Google unveiled its first-gen Tensor-powered devices last year, many of us were caught up in just how affordable the Pixel 6 was. $600 for a flagship is still largely unheard of, and there’s no doubt that the Google Pixel 7 will grab just as much attention. I've never been entirely sure what I should expect out of the Pixel Watch. On the one hand, it's a first-generation product from a company that's never made a smartwatch before. Growing pains can be expected. But at the same time, that company is Google, the zillion-dollar behemoth behind Wear OS and Android on the whole, that's been building some of our favorite phones and smart speakers for years now.
It’s no secret that Sony makes some of the best headphones you can get today — its WH-1000 series has become the gold standard for over-ear ANC. We’re now five generations deep in that series, and with completely revamped styling, the Sony WH-1000XM5 certainly look like a major upgrade from 2020’s WH-1000XM4.

There's less competition in the mobile phone space than ever, especially in the US, where companies like LG and HTC have either left the game entirely or wasted time and market share on unpopular concepts. Although companies like Motorola and Google managed to convert many users into customers, it's no secret that Samsung and Apple have flourished in this environment. Now is the perfect time for a dark horse like Sony to enter the competition. With the Xperia 5 IV, the company has its best chance yet.
