    It's Walrus Day. In 2006, a walrus boarded the K-186 Omsk and took a nap as the Russian submarine was undergoing maintenance in Kamchatka. It could have been worse. In 2019, a small Russian Navy boat in the Arctic was attacked and sunk by a female walrus protecting her calves.
