    I'm a miner and I'm super happy that Ethereum arbitrarily changes my rewards for keeping the network secure from time to time. I really feel the next fork should reduce my block rewards as much as possible so my disgusting greed is controlled, thus increasing network security.

    Base layer immutability with extensibility in higher layers is the only sane long-term approach. I don't care if you love Core or hate Core. That is a completely separate issue. If you cannot distinguish these two issues you're not worth trying to convince.
