Reston, Va – Preemption is now available in opt-in states to FirstNet subscribers at no additional charge. “We are pleased that FirstNet is the first broadband network to deliver this capability to public safety,” says CEO Mike Poth.
Illinois, Colorado are Latest States to “Opt In” and Join FirstNet Network

Reston, Va – Illinois and Colorado are the 39th and 40th states/territories, respectively, to opt in and join the FirstNet Network. New Hampshire is the only state that has announced plans to “opt out” and deploy its own Radio Access Network.
