Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 5:10 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has pulled the plug on a putative class action alleging Nintendo of America Inc.’s defective wrist straps on its Wii controllers failed to prevent the controllers from flying out of users’ hands and into nearby objects.
On Thursday, Judge Marcia Krieger of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado flatly rejected the plaintiff’s claims that Nintendo falsely advertised the safety of its controllers and issued defective safety straps.
