Burton Constable provides a fantastic setting for education visits with lots to see and do. Activities include tours of the Elizabethan mansion, parkland walks and an education room equipped with classroom activities.
School Visits
We offer a concessionary school rate of £3 per pupil. Accompanying staff and helpers are free of charge.

New for 2014 KS2 can take part in experiments of a curious nature. With cross-curricular links in science, object handing activities and a guided tour of the Hall and William Constable's 18th century Cabinet of Curiosities you are sure to get the most from your visit.
Stable Block
Why not explore the life of Billy the stable boy in our newly restored stable block, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Resource packs with cross-curricluar links (primarily KS1 & KS2) in history, science, mathematcis and english literature.
Parkland Visits
The Burton Constable Foundation is supported by Natural England to provide a limited number of free educational activities and guided tours for schools and organised groups relating to the historic parklands and habitats. Free visits are issued on a 'first come first served' basis, following which parkland activities will still be available to book for a small charge.
