Tech to Go: Stuff You Can Check Out
Laptops
The Library has twenty-one Dell laptops running Windows 7. These are available for 6-hour checkout (yes, we have power cords) for use within the Library. See our laptop policy page for more information.
iPads
Why? Because they're cool and you know you want to play with one. 6-hour loan period, In-library use only.
Sony Bloggie MP4 Cameras
A ridiculously easy tool for taking video footage. 7-day loan period.
Peripherals
We offer an analog-to-digital converter, which can digitize your old analog recordings and videos.
We also have headphones (3.5mm), headsets (USB), and freestanding microphones (3.5mm).
Finally, you can check out USB flash drives. They're not as much fun as an iPad, but can be lifesavers when you need to save scans from a non-networked machine (like our color scanner/copier).
